Thus the title, March's Madness. I had fun with this one. My husband questioned me about doing this bead journal, why spend the time to create something that is not useful for anything. So I pondered that question as I finished March's Madness and I decided that even though these might not be useful in the normal way, they are making me see color in different shades that I have overlooked, and I really like the feedback that I get! So I will continue on!</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I made iced flowers, an iced feather, iced up water is everywhere, even some snow. Of course, thinking of all thngs iced reminded me of Alaska, and so the glacial ice water color had to come in. The Kenai River is represented by the flow of amazonite chips. The top of the silver ice river has chunks of ice that remind me of Spring breakup on the Kotzebue Sound. <br />

I hope I have as much fun on February's piece.Beadmommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14752462501339212628noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1986192785440895339.post-82295669526843308762011-01-18T10:32:00.001-08:002011-01-18T10:32:33.312-08:00Peacock feather necklace<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZieSsenhWOqcJ5vXjJLQa2l4vr6yV5UJQX6uxJsTDF4Ikq1HmiId8sW3ViyjTOeXDa7ZLglsFIfnKVYni8yinU-b0v_sAh9VF3SmCvPrHSTERyLzRwINxj20wBM4IVH-YuTPzVISFROI/s1600/P1170010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZieSsenhWOqcJ5vXjJLQa2l4vr6yV5UJQX6uxJsTDF4Ikq1HmiId8sW3ViyjTOeXDa7ZLglsFIfnKVYni8yinU-b0v_sAh9VF3SmCvPrHSTERyLzRwINxj20wBM4IVH-YuTPzVISFROI/s320/P1170010.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>I just love this!Beadmommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14752462501339212628noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1986192785440895339.post-86290240040383045732011-01-18T10:31:00.000-08:002011-01-18T10:31:16.007-08:00January's square<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA-aQ_IwUUipKisnm5R1yAjdm9HQGJ0OeZS8tjl6fcaIe2VCBE7VxTShD_VsTO-uArpsnPq0QfY_4Spf_xvQhO8ruuYihYkw_q-nGBIlq5BHtcnYZqu3ngq-uF-Gf0VhHtRadGh7qRP9E/s1600/P1180013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA-aQ_IwUUipKisnm5R1yAjdm9HQGJ0OeZS8tjl6fcaIe2VCBE7VxTShD_VsTO-uArpsnPq0QfY_4Spf_xvQhO8ruuYihYkw_q-nGBIlq5BHtcnYZqu3ngq-uF-Gf0VhHtRadGh7qRP9E/s320/P1180013.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>I have started my first piece. I am going to bead each "page" to document my feelings about where I am in that particular month. I have chosen to bead in white colors for my January page. I feel that white is a clean slate, ready to be written on.Beadmommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14752462501339212628noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1986192785440895339.post-36074384524548296772011-01-03T06:59:00.001-08:002011-01-03T06:59:57.818-08:00<img alt="BJP 2011 Badge" height="204" id="Image1_img" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU2Xus6o05Okq-r2XGdEwLM-4XseD1lUTuns78_r7juX5N2rblGjr_8o0hcURNgCL_-FBlnHxq3FBA_Spx6lANeiriSC7Kmbo46qoTV6L2t5bQv83beJ4uUhIc27oWOuZRax-nqf7a7Xf4/s250/BJP+2011.jpg" width="204" />Beadmommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14752462501339212628noreply@blogger.com1
